Do you play a sport that puts importance on height or being able to jump high such as basketball or volleyball? As a beach volleyball player that was not blessed with height I know exactly where you are coming from. But did I let that hold me back from competing competitively with the best in the sport? No! And it shouldn’t hold you back either.

It doesn’t matter if you are 6’8″ or 5’8″ you can always benefit from jumping higher. The reason that tall people usually don’t have verticals as high as average height people is because they don’t train as hard, they could have verticals in the 40′s as well but they rely on their height to be good.

What is a good goal to shoot for when trying to increase your vertical? If you are not in the 40 inches for vertical jump height you have a ways to go. 4 years ago I thought I could jump pretty well because I jumping 35 inches high in the sand. That is still good and I am proud of it, but there is always room for improvement. If someone else can jump 44 inches high then why can’t you? They can because they train for it.

Take Ty Loomis, professional beach volleyball player that is only 6’3″ and hits over his blockers that are 6’9″. He jumps that high because he knows how to train. He puts Kobe Bryant, Spudd Web, and Michael Jordan to shame with his vertical jump. He is getting as high as they got but he is jumping out of sand.

There is no doubt that the best jumpers in the world are beach volleyball players so why not learn from them how to jump higher. I decided that I would try a jump higher program, you can see the program if you Click Here.

This program promises to add 10 inches to your jump height in 2 months. I thought that was a little much, and to be honest I would be happy with 5 inches on my vertical in 2 months. I started the program with a bad knee and had to stop after 2 weeks because I shouldn’t have been doing any training at the time. But in those 2 weeks I added 2 inches to my vertical. I was sold! My knee healed up after resting it for a few months and now I am back you better believe I will training with the same program.

Have you ever wondered what workouts you could do to increase your vertical? Well let me tell you some vertical jump training exercises you can do to jump higher.

Before starting a plyometric training program you need to make sure that your joints and musles are ready for it. Plyos are the most intense form of vertical jump training that exists so you need to take extra caution. It is not recommended that you do plyos if you are considered obese. A simple muscle strengthening routine should be done before you start plyometric exercises.

Why do you need to do plyometric jump training?

Building muscle is not enough to give your muscles the quickness they need to explode and make you jump higher. Jumping higher in basketball and volleyball is very important but requires the right combination of strength and speed to produce the power for lift off.

You can jump higher even if you are already jumping at the upper 30 inch range. The highest vertical leap is still up in the air but there are many people that say they can jump in the upper 40′s. The highest that I have personally seen is 44 inches and that is amazing. With the right jump training program and dedication you can reach 44 inches too. Jump manual exercises are designed to give results as quickly as possible so don’t delay check out the Jump Manual today.
